DIY Foam Heart Valentines Wreath

Every year when Christmas is over, I have the post-Christmas blues. It absolutely bums me out to take down all the decorations and to see our house go lower back to normal.  Do you experience the same way?  If so, I am hoping I can cheer you up by sharing with you how to make a Valentine’s Day wreath.  I don’t go loopy adorning for Valentine’s Day, however, I do just enough to assist out with the post-Christmas blues. It helps, believe me!

Foam Heart Valentines Wreath

Step 1:

Materials

  • Foam core board {2 pieces, eleven x 14 inches each–I bought this 4 pack from Amazon: Foamboard, 11-Inch x 14-Inches}
  • Washi tape Red tissue paper
  • 1 1/4-Inch Old Gold Ribbon
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Utility knife
  • Cutting board
  • Pencil

Step 2:

Draw and cut out your X and O two shapes from the foam core board the usage of your utility knife and slicing board. For the X, I used a small degree to draw out the shape.  For my O, I used a pink plastic bowl to create the pinnacle and bottom curves of the O.  Since I wanted an elongated O, I free-handed the aspect and centre component of the O.

Step 3:

Cover the returned side of your letters with washi tape. two This is not a fundamental step, however as you can see, the edges of the letters are rough and imperfect, so washi tape is a quality way to make your task look finished. Be certain to wrap the washi tape over the front of your challenge so that the rough edges are completely covered.

Step 4:

Cover the other side of your letters with washi tape. This is no longer a necessary step, but as you can see, the edges of the letters are hard and imperfect, so washi tape is a pleasant way to make your venture appear finished. Be sure to wrap the washi tape over the front of your project so that the difficult edges are definitely covered.

Step 5:

Cover the lower back aspect of your letters with washi tape. This is not a fundamental step, however as you can see, the edges of the letters are tough and imperfect, so washi tape is a first-rate way to make your undertaking seem to be finished. Be sure to wrap the washi tape over the front of your venture so that the difficult edges are totally covered.
